Biobank Project

As part of our objective to further scientific progress in comparative endocrinology, ESVE is keen to promote collaborative, multicentre research projects that advance this field.

Current call
We are pleased to announce a grant to a maximum of € 5,000.00 to aid gathering of samples for the establishment of biobanks supporting endocrine research. The grant will be awarded in two stages; € 2,000.00 upon award of the grant, and the remaining € 3,000.00 following completion of a progress report.

Eligibility
Any current member of ESVE is eligible to apply.

Description
The purpose of this grant is to support collation of data and samples to aid collaborative research projects. This may include the processing, packaging and shipment of samples. The grant is not intended to fund infrastructure or equipment within any single institution.

Applications should be made using the application form. For further information, please see the Terms and Conditions document. Completed application forms should be sent to projects@esve.org

The deadline for receipt of applications is March 15th 2026. Results will be announced mid-April 2026.
Acknowledgements. The funding provided by ESVE should be acknowledged in publications facilitated by this scheme.
