Outreach programme

One of the main missions of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology (ESVE) is to promote the education of veterinary endocrinology in Europe. ESVE members meet annually at the ECVIM congress where most European veterinary endocrinology research is communicated. As the ECVIM congress is often organized in western Europe, veterinarians interested in endocrinology living in European countries with lower GDP per capita have less access to this annual meeting.

With this in mind, ESVE members have decided to offer an annual Educational Grant for veterinarian societies in countries with GDP per capita < USD 25.000. Veterinarian societies can now apply for funding to organize an endocrinology symposium or a local pre- or post-congress day.

Which countries can apply?
Slovakia, Greece, Latvia, Hungary, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine.

How to apply for the ESVE Educational Grant?
Please prepare an application in word format (1 to 2 pages):
1. Explaining how the initiative will help promote endocrinology education in your country.
2. Providing a description of the program. (If needed, ESVE could help suggesting speakers).
3. Detailing the budget with the requested financial support. The maximum annual amount dedicated to this program is €10.000.

ESVE will help promote this event on the website and social media. ESVE will not be liable for any incurred costs made should a full or part cancellation occur of the event(s).

The deadline for the 2027 applications will be announced in due time.

Applications should be sent to projects@esve.org
