Summer School Social Program



Dear friends,


Very soon starts the Summer School of Veterinary Endocrinology, we are very excited!


On Sunday there will be the registration at the School of Veterinary Medicine from 15.00 to 19.00.


During the week of the Summer School we will have a rich social program kindly offered by the generous sponsors! You can see the program in the website at


On Wednesday afternoon, June 27th we organized a guided tour of the historic center of Bologna, the city with the oldest University in the world! We reach Bologna with dedicated bus. There are 2 possible tours:

    The tour traces the long history of what is probably considered the oldest University, stopping in its historical sites, artistic heritage of the city. Itinerary:
    • Palazzo Poggi (University Museum);
    • Via Zamboni and university district;
    • Archiginnasio with the Anatomical Theatre;
    • Tombs of the Glossators;
    • Basilica of San Petronio;
  2. BOLOGNA AND THE MUSIC + Palazzo Poggi
    Bologna, since 2006, is a UNESCO creative city for music: the tour is a journey that traces the history of great music characters who have left a trail in the city. Itinerary:
    • Palazzo Poggi (University Museum);
    • Visit to San Petronio and its organ;
    • Rossini’s house;
    • Conservatory (with visit to the cloister);
    • Municipal Theater;

For such a beautiful guided tour we have limited places, so we ask you to tell us if you want to participate. Please go to this link to participate or from the webpage of the Social Events.


The guided tour is free for participants at the Summer School and accompanying persons will have to pay € 20.00.


Lunch and coffee breaks during the Summer School: due to the generosity of the Sponsors the coffee breaks and the lunches and cocktails are included. If someone of you is vegetarian/vegan/allergic to specific food please report this to us during the registration to the social events at
