Dr. Eric Zini received the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary
Internal Medicine (Dipl. ECVIM-CA, Internal Medicine) at the Faculty of
Veterinary Medicine of Zurich (Switzerland) in 2005, and one year later he
became PhD at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Turin (Italy).
Since 2005,
he works at the Diabetology and Endocrinology Research Group of the Faculty of
Zurich. In 2010 he is awarded “Privat Dozent” (PD) at the same Faculty and in
2012 he was offered the professorship of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of
Bern. Currently, he is also research fellow at the Faculty of Padua (Italy) and
Scientific Director at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara (Italy).
E’ is author
and coauthor of more than 80 scientific articles in international journals. His
major research focus is in the field of small animal diabetology and
endocrinology, oncology and nephrology.
